What is hydrocarbon extraction?
The first step in the extraction process, primary extraction involves flushing cold hydrocarbon’s through the solvent tank into the material column. This is where the solvent (hydrocarbon) washes over the base plant matter – dissolving & capturing the essential oils into the solvent. Once the plant material has been washed, the solution can be directly captured, or it can be processed & refined in a number of ways.
This could mean using something like in-line de-waxing, where the initial extraction is passed through stainless steel beads or another filtering medium, in order to hold back undesired materials.
After refinement, the concentrate solution passes through to the collection pot, and any residual hydrocarbon is passively removed. This purge moves the isolated solvent back into the solvent tank, thus creating a “closed-loop” system. This process repeats until the majority of the solvent is removed from the solution – then the operator collects the concentrate for further separation.

The 500 series offers great scalability due to its modular design which allows you to scale the system from our base (E model) through to our professional (SE model) that simply attaches together which allows less upfront costs but doesn’t limit your future potential for scalability.
500E
The 500E is our entry level extractor which comes mounted on a 304 Stainless Steel box section frame, wheels can be fitted & it can be mounted to the modular recirculation tray. Double jacketed & insulated or it can be fitted with dimple refrigerant jacketing which will future proof your systems efficiency.
500S
The 500S is our next step up from the 500E which comes mounted to the modular recirculation tray, this allows the operator to process multiple runs without having to dump and refill the tank with new water/ice ensuring all the extract has been captured in the most efficient way possible.
This model can come with one or two filter collection chutes which allow further scalability when coming to batch process times, you can have two operators working side by side on each filter; one dumping, one collecting or changing filter bags, etc.
The base is sloped to the rear of the recirculation tray paired with a “Grundfos” 230v 66lpm pump that collects the recycled water and refills the tank in just under 8 minutes!
This maximizes yield potential & efficiency!
500SE
The 500SE is our top-tier solventless extractor, this is plug and play GMP-rated module suited for medicinal/pharmaceutical lab application.
Paired with all our previous 500S features it also comes with an integrated 1” high-pressure wash hose branched from our recirculated water discharge line, this enables operator(s) to rinse/collect the extract faster & not have to further outsource water from a hose station. Completed with the modular GMP-rated platform, this allows operators to load the biomass with ease & minimizing any potential strains. This ticks all the boxes!
The 500SE comes all third-party certified to AS/NZS GMP standards.
